Ulak Lia is a large lake situated in the suburbs Sekayu, Musi Banyuasin district, South Sumatra. Like other cities, known as “Randik”. Randik town located south of the city of Palembang is 125 Km. If we go to Sekayu, many tourist objects that we can visit, such as: Ulak Lia Lake, Kongar Lake, Cala Lake and others.
Long ago, before the area became known as now, there is a beautiful picturesque villages and many of its inhabitants. Population lives in the village that is farming and fishing. Most of the farming population to maintain a buffalo, while the fishermen mostly dog. Buffalo used to plow rice fields, and the dog used to keep the house in time fishermen were fishing.

Mount Dempo (3159 meters above of sea surface) is located in the border province of South Sumatra and Bengkulu provinces.
