Funeral Complex is now included in the area of District of 3 Ilir, District II of East Ilir, Palembang. Based on old records, this cemetery was built in 1728 AD by order of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Jayo Wikramo (died 1756 AD), after the construction Tomb Complex ot Gubah Talang Kerangga (30 Ilir).
The name tekurep crater is taken from cone shape (dome) which resembled the crater in it stomach (Palembang: tekurep). If measured from the edge of the Musi River, the tomb complex is about 100 meters from the stream. Hedged around with bricks, which have been partly damaged. On the side facing the Musi River (south), there is a gate of the main gate to enter the tomb complex. In it, there are four cupola.
